I am using techniques such as trowing, adding lots of clay to projects as well as carving and I have also been making lots of different vases. The art elements I am using include the use of color and clay to portray a design and cool colors that complement eachother. Together, these techniques and art elements work together to portray the idea of nature in design and in color. Specific projects include ones that have trees carved into the side, added peices of clay to make it look like an animal and clay on a vase to represent a climbing tree. The idea of nature makes the viewer feel interested and makes them find ways to relate to the artwork and link it to things from their past, adding an emotional connection to the projects.
