Glazed projects
This week I make a choice project that is a pitcher with a handle and a flower on the handle. i also glazed a bowl, a vase and two plates but they have not gone into the glaze kiln yet. My two plates I glazed dark blue, shadow green, and white. My vase i glazed oil spot and shadow green and by bowl I glazed shadow green and clear.

This week I got two of my projects out of the glaze kiln and about 5 projects out of the bisque kiln. I made a second tall project because my first broke while I was footing it. I glazed one of my plates but am not done.

This week i made three plates, including a small one with a tea cup and pull handle. I also made a wheel altered project footed a bowl from last week and made another bowl that has groves on the side. The two plates i made today are bagged so that they don't dry out over break.

This week was hard and I ended up with only two good projects. I made a small vase and a large wide bowl. I had made a bowl but it dried fast. On the second day I tried to foot it but it flew off the wheel and shattered. It had many cracks in it already. I also footed my small vase. My bowl was made on friday so it is in a bag in my locker.

This is my first week and we were to make a tall project. On the left is my first attempt to make a tall project but it didn't turn out as tall as it should be, so I may use that for extra credit later on. On the right was another attempt at a tall project that went out of control on the wheel but I decided to keep it and maybe use it for a choice or wheel altered project.

This week I have started a new semester of ceramics and for the first time I am an advanced student as well. Bellow is a picture of one of my beginner projects.
