This week was the last week to finish up projects and i finished glazing everything and my teapot, two themes and extra credit all come out of the glaze kiln. Most of the week i cleaned buckets, rings, wheel and boards as well as help Mrs. Heideman organize her things. 

This week I made my last two theme projects and bagged them so I am able to carve designs into them next week. My teapot has not been finished yet because I was absent for an entire week when I needed to work on it. It would have been done earlier but after the bisque came out, the lid was lost. I waited for the next bisque to come out so I could see if they got separated but it didn't come out so I need to make a lid next week. There is a picture of my teapot above to prove that I had a lid originally. 

This week I finished my teapot and put it in the bisque and also got my hand and wheel out of the bisque. I glazed it shiny turquoise and stained the flower buds candy red. The stems of the plant on my project isn't glazed at all. I spent most of my days this week in class working on my rough draft and one day tried throwing a vase for my theme choice but couldn't make anything. 

This week I started my teapot and made a vase for the body, a in-set lid and threw a spout out of the new red clay. I attached a handle and the spout and carved daisies into the side. I also finished my hand and wheel and put it in the bisque to come out on monday. I turned in my theme choice and lidded project and turned three pieces of artwork into the art show.

I have been absent all week due to a nasty cold. here is a picture of one of my finished projects from last week. 

This week I finished my owl cup and put it in the bisque. After it cam out I glazed it metallic brown, yellow and white but am not finished yet. I has also made a penguin cup but it broke when I was working on it. My choice project came out of the kiln and I turned it in and got a ten.

This week I worked on my two cups. I plulled and applied both handles to the cups as well as, on one cup, added clay to make it look like a owl. I also glazed my choice project/pitcher and put it into the gas kiln. I finished one of my cups and put it away to dry and the other I bagged for next week.

This week i finished my lidded project and got it out of the bisque kiln. I have also started my theme choice project and made two cups/mugs and footed them as well. I also bagged them and am going to finish them after break,

This week I turned in my wide project, wheel altered and two plates. I also got my tall project out of the glaze as well as my set of three. At the end of the week I made a lidded project and footed it on friday so that it can be dry for the bique on monday.

This week I spent glazing all of my projects. I glazed my set of three, a choice, my two plates, my tall project and another bowl. After these come out of the glaze all of my projects for the semester will be done exempt fro one. My two plates I glazed dark blue, shadow green and white. My set of three I glazed dark green and light blue and carved a tree into the glaze. My tall project I glazed turquoise with sand over the top and my choice vase I glazed blue, green and another type of blue. A vase of mine also came out of the kiln this week.
